The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: The Marketing Communication Specialist plays an important coordinator role with various teams and is a true project leader in his/her country or geographic area. With limited oversight and direction from the Regional Marketing Communication Manager, and in collaboration with General Managers, Sales Managers, Product Marketing Managers, and Sales representatives, she/he recommends and implements the annual communications strategy. Main activities are: Advertising & Marketing communication: Focuses on increasing product/brand awareness in the market, creating a brand image for targeted customers, and implementing promotional programs including: • Creating and/or coordinating the production of advertising and promotional materials based on predetermined marketing themes and messages (e.g., logos, flyers, billboards, television commercials, radio ads, digital advertising, etc.) • Identifying the optimal mix of advertising and promotional channels that align with defined customer market segmentation and buyer personas (i.e., television, radio, online, etc.) • Maintaining press media relations and ads • Managing in-store promotions and clarifying promotion terms with retailers • Managing conferences/congresses/events and coordinating brand promotional merchandise (e.g., mugs, bags, pens, etc.) • Measuring advertising and promotion effectiveness for return-on-investment • Makes an inventory of the needs of the different local target audiences and recommend and implement yearly local communications plan additions or modifications with the Regional Marketing Communication Manager • Monitors market trends and benchmark competitor communication practices • Maintains local web content and manages local social media strategies & activities • Defines KPIs and analyze results of former communication plan(s) and the impacts of the actions carried out and implements change into future communication plan(s) - ROI. • Maintains a consistent corporate and brand image, ensuring proper use of HM.CLAUSE brand guideline • Develops media relations, • Works with product experts to create feature, attribute, and benefit statements to be included in advertising and promotional materials that resonate with existing and new customer
