VHIL Systems & HW Engineer - Stellantis

Stellantis EEAV organization is seeking a VHIL Systems and HW Engineer on the HIL Engineering team to work on Hardware-In-the-Loop systems. The candidate must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in development of HIL systems (NI,dSPACE etc.) with thorough knowledge of HIL simulator hardware, ECU electrical interface definition and harness development. He/ She will be the interface between HIL development team and external teams for HIL requirement analysis and impact analysis. In this position, the candidate shall interface with cross-functional team of ECU Hardware, Systems, SW, Controls, Plant Modeling and Calibration engineers to rapidly resolve HIL simulation environment and/or integration issues, triage, troubleshooting during commissioning of HIL test properties. The candidate must be a strong team player, systems focused with interdisciplinary experience and expertise (ADAS, EE, electric and hybrid systems). The engineer must be willing to work in fast-paced environment. The engineer will be working with global teams (NA, EMEA, APAC and LATAM). Other responsibilities include conducting benchmarks, evaluating new HIL technologies, working with teams on process, methodology and tools. Roles and Responsibilities: · Vehicle and Body/Chassis/PWT HIL HW Simulator Commissioning · Wiring Design for HiL Bench · Harness Fabrication for HiL Bench · Identifying the objectives of HiL Test Benches · Feasibility study for power and communication channels · HIL Hardware Selection/Upgrade · Identifying the changes occurred for vehicle loop changes, and upgrade the design documents and test bench design · HIL Hardware Verification
