The Sub-Saharan Fragrance Marketing and CI manager oversees the Sub-Saharan Africa marketing and CI teams based in Ivory Coast and South Africa. She/he is fundamentally a team leader as well as a project manager in the fragrance division. His/her duty as manager is to assist the Fragrance sales teams and lead the marketing and CI teams efficiently confidently by bringing guidance, market insights and marketing and CI strategies. As a marketeer he/she must manage product and consumer knowledge on all the markets covered by SSA teams in order to support the sales team to answer client briefs with the best proposals by a scheduled due date. His / her role is to build a high performing SSA marketing and CI team. SCOPE OF JOB Independence (Finance) •Collaborate to define Marketing and customer insights budgets – SSA Region •Respect Marketing and Customer insights budgets •Manage his/her annual trip budget for the whole team Innovation •Drive innovation through markets understanding by defining the trends and gaps to realize the annual targets •Keep close with global marketing to identify worldwide trends to bring to SSA region proposals Customer Centricity •Drive and contribute to the strategic plan with the commercial team •Work with commercial team to drive collaborative key account plans •Coordinate the preparation of focused key customer business case presentations in conjunction with evaluation and Commercial team •Support and contribute to different Business pipelines in collaboration with Sales, FDM & Marketing Team members, different EMEA Fragrance Categories & R&D •Provide insight into market solutions to establish business potential and drive profitability for customers •In conjunction with technical, FDM and sales team, develop plans for launching new concepts/products and provide launch support •Knowledge base development through market research determining customers' needs, preferences and also final consumers' needs Marketing And Consumer Insights •Understand marketplace trends •Support our MANE Sales Strategy and our Market Must Win Battles •Lead strategic trends/research that translate into real-time business opportunities to support pipeline •Analyse the market, customer diagnostics and makes recommendations to Sales Team •Follow international trends and make local recommendations on new concepts or opportunities •Collaborate with EMEA Category Marketing teams •In coordination with the development team, conduct multi-country consumer surveys in order to answer Categories' and Strategic customers' research needs •Develop MANE qualitative research expertise by monitoring new methodologies and experimenting approaches relevant to our research objectives (with support from Global CI). •Be an active member of the international consumer researchers' network, sharing expertise and collaborating to international surveys.
