The estate has already gained strong recognition and aims to reach a curious, food-driven and international clientele looking for elegant, fresh and terroir-driven wines.In a competitive and international wine market, the company is now looking for a hands-on commercial leader to drive its next phase of growth.Your RoleReporting directly to management, you will lead the commercial development of the winery, combining strategic thinking with strong operational involvement.Business Development (B2B & B2C)
- Define and implement the commercial strategy
- Develop new business opportunities and actively prospect new clients
- Build and manage a portfolio of key accounts
- Expand distribution channels including HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, cafés), wine shops, distributors and corporate clients
- Develop direct-to-consumer sales (private customers, e-shop, winery sales)
- Lead negotiations and close deals
- This is a field-oriented, entrepreneurial role, where you will directly contribute to the winery's commercial performance.
- Contribute to the marketing and communication strategy
- Organize and participate in trade events, tastings and promotional activities
- Develop and manage wine tourism experiences at the estate
- Represent the brand with partners, distributors and clients
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate logistics related to sales
- Improve and structure commercial processes
- Track performance indicators and report on sales activity
- Proven experience in business development, ideally in wine, premium food & beverage, gastronomy or high-end products
- Strong B2B sales experience required (B2C is a plus)
- Excellent prospecting, relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Autonomous, entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset
- Ability to structure and grow a developing business
- Strong interest in terroir products and sustainable agriculture
- Fluent in Dutch, English and French
