Missions: Act as the Purchasing Representative for a plant (and vice versa) Member of the plant Director board, dedicated to the plant and located on site. Ensure that any major purchasing topic for the plant is handled by central purchasing (anticipation and escalation role). Depending on the manufacturing pool organization, the IPM scope could be enlarged to several plants with the target to globalize some supplier contracts and increase savings. Ensure and enhance purchasing performance towards the plant, with a strong focus on commercial cost reduction Responsible to drive the purchasing performance for the benefit of the carlines or engines produced by the plant Animation of action plan related to commercial savings Identify any new opportunity to bring cost savings (Monozukuri workshops, Top Supplier Meetings, Audits,…) and ensure their achievement Support Commodity Strategy providing plant specific input Support the plant for the ISO certification process for indirect purchasing matters Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers Ensure that logistics, quality or service issues are handled correctly by central purchasing and escalate if necessary Manage the recovery of logistics, indirect and quality claims Hold a reinforced role towards local Suppliers (especially just in time Suppliers and service) Contribute to strategic sourcing decisions Participate in elaboration and execution the Plant Want To Be, Sourcing Strategy, Make-or-buy, Sequencing and Supplier Ecosystem. Contribute to the launch of new programs on site, together with Program Purchasing Managers. Interfaces with other Group entities: All the plant departments, Corporate Purchasing, Engineering (programs), Supply Chain, Finance, IPM network, Program Purchasing Manager Main activity monitoring KPI Economic purchasing performance Suppliers quality and logistics performance Re-/Sourcing performance
