Join BOURBON, a Group in full transformation. The Fleet Department of Bourbon Offshore Surf ensures vessel availability in accordance with the standards required by BOURBON and its clients. As part of a replacement for a future retirement, the Fleet Department is recruiting a Vessel Manager. Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, you will be integrated into an operational cell. Within this scope, you will be responsible for managing 4 to 5 vessels from the Bourbon Offshore Surf Marine pool (AHTS, PSV, FSIV). In this role, and in coordination with the Crewing, Procurement, HSEA, Cost Control, and Logistics departments, your missions are organized around several key areas: Operations Management - Operational planning and monitoring of vessels. - Preparation and monitoring of budgets and costs; steering performance and financial results. - Managing the performance and technical availability of the vessels. - Conducting inspections of the vessels within your fleet. Client Satisfaction & Contract Management - Ensuring vessel compliance with client requirements and expectations. - Participating in the deployment process of commercial contracts in coordination with the client and the marketing department. - Monitoring and ensuring compliance with the ship-management contract. HSE Policy & BOURBON Standards - Implementing, monitoring, and improving QHSE standards and the safety culture on board. - Verifying vessel compliance with applicable regulations. - Managing regular vessel inspections and audits, including "action plan" follow-ups. Leadership & Management - Line management of Masters (Captains) and functional management of Chief Engineers. - You will serve as the delegated DPA (Designated Person Ashore) as defined by the ISM Code. The assigned fleet is primarily deployed in West Africa (Congo, Angola, Nigeria, etc.) and the Middle East, where you will be required to travel (approximately 30 days per year – minimum of 2 trips)
